Prevention Services assists schools and districts in creating an environment for young people to grow and develop offering programs in: Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention Education; Safe Schools; Foster Youth Services; Placer Community Challenge to Prevent Teen Pregnancy; Interagency Partnerships; Placer County School Attendance Review Board; Child Welfare and Attendance; Suspension/Expulsion; Expulsion and Interdistrict Transfer Appeals; Work Permits; and Student Due Process.
