Title VII Indian Education
The Placer County Office of Education receives federal Title VII Indian Education funding to serve Native students attending Placer County schools. PCOE serves as the lead agency on a consortium of Placer County school districts who educate Native students. We encourage parents of Native students to complete the Title VII Self-Certification 506 Form.pdf and return to the child's school or to PCOE. Students with 506 forms on file with PCOE are entitled to academic assessment/intervention and higher education and cultural resources and support.
We also welcome interested parents to serve on the Parent Advisory Committee or participate in monthly Advisory meetings. Please check out the Documents and Resources sections for additional information, to see Advisory Meeting agendas and minutes, and to view upcoming cultural and community events.
Thank you for visiting our Indian Education page and please don't hesitate to contact us for more program information or to get involved!
