Our goal is to work together with teachers and administrators to provide a comprehensive, systematic, rigorous and relevant education to all students in Placer County. Our department provides professional development around implementation of standards, effective first instruction, English language development, professional learning communities, multi-tiered systems of support, coaching and more.
Our comprehensive approach to professional development includes professional development training, lesson study and coaching.
In addition we offer the following Commission on Teacher Credentialing approved programs:
- Teacher Induction Program (formerly Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment - BTSA)
- Administrator Preliminary Credential
- Administrator Clear Credential Induction
