Mary Ann currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer after holding various positions in her 23 years with the Placer County Office of Education. This included managing all areas related to state certification. She has served on several state workgroups and committees working with both the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and the California Department of Education(CDE) and is recognized for her expertise in the area of teacher credentialing.
Before moving to Northern California, and after attending the California State University, Long Beach, Mary Ann began an art centered career working in design and display for major department stores in the Los Angeles area.
Associated with her current position, Mary Ann has served as the chair for the Capital Service Region Personnel Committee, is presently a member of the CTC Technical Advisory Committee and is the Personnel Administrative Services Steering Committee liaison to the California Department of Justice.
Mary Ann has been a resident of Placer County for the past 25 years where she enjoys spending time with her family. She has a strong belief that her responsibility and the role of Human Resources is to serve those that serve our students with dedication and excellence in all areas.
