​With the proposed sale of the Kentucky Greens campus, (645 Kentucky Greens Way, Newcastle) will the programs on the site be closed?

No. The programs will be relocated in a phased approach over the next two years with the same services and equal or better facilities. Superintendent Garbolino-Mojica is committed to relocating students to integrated and isolated facilities depending upon the students' needs.

Will the educational program and services for the special needs children change?

No. The educational program and services for the students will not change. The students will continue to receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) as outlined in their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Will there be a road constructed through the Kentucky Greens campus?

The Placer County Board of Education and the County Superintendent of Schools have opposed the construction of a road through the Kentucky Greens campus since the idea was first proposed. The Governing Board and the County Superintendent of Schools continue to oppose construction of a road through the site to date.

What are the Newcastle Elementary School District’s plans for the Kentucky Greens campus?

How can I express my opinion about the proposed sale of the Kentucky Greens campus?
